Hanukkah Collection

I have had the pleasure of collaborating on several homeware/partyware collections for the General Merchandise team at H-E-B, but I was particularly excited about offering a collection for our customers that celebrate the Hanukkah holiday. While other Hanukkah items do exist in the market, most of them are flashy, cheeky, and perhaps a little cliché. Our team wanted to provide a range of products that instead honored the sacredness of the holiday in a simple, elegant way.

Rather than leaning on familiar puns and playful sayings, our team used the phrase “Peace and Light” as the theme of our collection. We landed on a more muted expression of the traditional Hanukkah color palette, supported by typography that felt delicate and refined.

As with other collections I had worked on, the team’s request was to provide a mixture of both standalone icons and repeat patterns. This particular collection was a collaboration between myself and another designer, so we worked together to create a bank of assets that could extend to various forms and colors.
